It was a moment of joy mixed with emotions as the ELCG Head office staff sat with the Family of our missionary and partner Mr. Paul Federwitz and shared love and bid this wonderful family farewell in their next endeavour.
When we received the message of the Federwitzs’ call to Ethiopia we were sad because they are leaving Ghana. But we also do acknowledge that the Lord is calling them to Ethiopia for a higher purpose.
Mr. Paul Federwitz worked with ELCG as Lutheran Bible Translator for 15 years. He and his lovely family have been of tremendous blessing to ELCG all these years. He first stayed in Tamale and later moved to Accra. During his stay in Accra, Paul and his family visited and worshipped with almost all ELCG branches in Greater Accra. We believe he is going to bless Ethiopia even more.
This brief ceremony at the ELCG Head Office conference room was climax with gift presentation to the family, refreshment and of course Picture taking.
It is our fervent prayer that the Lord will bless them in Ethiopia and use them mightily.
We love the Federwitzs- Paul, Alison, Hannah, Eden and Levi. We will miss them.
